Two Counters, One Fund
The TradePlus S&P New China Tracker is unique on Bursa — it is the only Malaysian ETF that trades in both MYR and USD. Both 0829EA and 0829EB represent the same underlying fund and the same basket of stocks. The only difference is the settlement currency.
Both counters share the same NAV (denominated in Hong Kong Dollar, the fund's base currency). When you buy 0829EA in MYR, the price simply reflects the prevailing MYR/HKD exchange rate. Most retail investors should use 0829EA for simplicity.
Top Holdings
The fund's top two holdings — Tencent and Alibaba — together account for nearly 20% of the portfolio. The index is capped at 10% per stock to prevent excessive concentration.

China ETF Comparison
If you want tech and consumer exposure, 0829EA is the purest play. If you want broad China blue-chips including banks, consider 0823EA. If you need Shariah-compliance, 0838EA is your only option — though it holds mainland A-shares which have different dynamics.
